Rupali Ganguly was born on 5 April 1977 and is an West Bengal into a Bengali Hindu family and Born in the household of film director Anil Ganguly, Rupali Ganguly started her acting career at the age of seven with her father’s film Saheb (1985). And then she did Angara (1996), and Do Aankhen Barah Haath (1997), as a teenager, Ganguly made her television debut with her portrayal of medical intern Dr. Simran Chopra in the Star Plus medical drama series Sanjeevani (2).  Then she gain lot of success.

Ganguly has appeared in many famous and successful television serials especially Se Ba Bahu Aur Baby Jo Ki Saal (2005), and Parvarrish – Kuch Khatti Kuch Meethi (2011) after which she took a gap of seven years and again after seven years , He is being seen in Star Plus Famous and Biggest TRP Daily Soap Anupamaa which debuted in (2020).

Rupali belongs to a Bengali Hindu family. His father, Anil Ganguly, was a film director and screenwriter. And he has a brother named Vijay Ganguly who is an actor-producer.Rupali Ganguly studied hotel management and theatre. Rupali married businessman Ashwin K Verma on 6 February 2013 and they have a son named Rudransh who was born on 25 August 2015.

She made her television debut in 2000 in Sukanya, and has also appeared in Sanjeevani and Bhabhi. Rupali was portrayed as a middle-class young woman married into a high society, cuff parade-living socialite family in the cult sitcom Sarabhai vs Sarabhai from 2004 to 2006. She participated in Colors TV’s stunt based reality show, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 2 (2009) and then she was seen in Bigg Boss Season 1. Rupali lent her voice in an animation film Dashavatar in the year 2008. In 2000, he set up an advertising agency in Mumbai And now she is playing the lead role in Anupamaa of StarPlus.
