Rachana Parulkar is an Indian young actress who works in Hindi television. She made her acting debut in 2008 playing the role of Saavari Singh in Saat Phere – Saloni Ka Safar. Parulkar is best known for playing Kalpana Jadhav Singhania in Ek Mutthi Aasmaan and Maharani Ajbde Panwar in the hugely popular serial Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap.
Parulkar is a trained Kathak dancer since 2010 and a student of Uma Dogra. She completed her training from Uma Dogra’s Kathak school.
Parulkar made her acting debut in 2008 with the role of Saavari Singh in Saat Phere – Saloni Ka Safar. She appeared as Rano in the famous serial “Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dil” in the same year.
From 2011 to 2013, she played the role of Aakriti in Sapno Se Bhare Naina opposite Dishank Arora. In 2013, she appeared as Kanak Dagar in an episode of Gumrah.
Parulkar’s portrayal of Kalpana “Kalpi” Jadhav Singhania in Ek Fist Aasmaan opposite Ashish Chowdhary from 2013 to 2014, proved to be a major turning point in her career.
Parulkar achieved further success with her portrayal of Maharani Ajabde Pawar opposite Sharad Malhotra in Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap from 2015 to 2016. In 2018, she portrayed Parvati in Namah opposite Tarun Khanna. She also appeared in an uncredited role in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl.
From 2021, Parulkar is seen playing the role of Shivani Pawar in Madam Sir.
He started his acting career at the age of 17. Played the lead role of Saavari in the notable show Saat Phere – Saloni Ka Safar.
