Sharad Malhotra was born on 9 January 1984 and brought up in Kolkata, he did his B.Com from St. Xavier’s College. In 2004, she won Face of the Year in Kolkata, from where her journey began.

Sharad Malhotra is a young Indian actor, who predominantly works in Hindi television and Hindi films. He made his acting debut in 2003 with the role of Prince Goldie in Princess Dolly and Her Magic Bag. His first leading role was in the lead role of Sagarpratap Singh in Banoo Main Teri Dulhann.

Sharad got his breakthrough in 2013 with the role of Maharana Pratap Singh in the most popular serial “Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap” and is best known for playing Rishi Singh Bedi in Kasam Tere Pyar Ki and Veeranshu Singhania in Naagin 6.

He made his film debut in 2013 with From Sydney with Love.
Apart from modeling and acting since 2009, Sharad is also fond of kickboxing, horse riding and swimming.

Malhotra attended acting workshop and took up modeling after coming to Mumbai. He was the first male model to do a jewelery campaign. Malhotra began his career in 2003 with the search for India’s Best Cinestars as a contestant. He made his acting debut in the year 2003 in Princess Dolly Aur Her Magic Bag as Prince Goldie and made a cameo appearance in Kabhi Toh Nazar Milao.

His first leading role was in the 2005 film Main Teri Dulhann, where he played the lead role of Sagar alongside Divyanka Tripathi and was later seen as Amar Upadhyay. The show was a hit. The show ended in mid-2008. In 2007, he was also a part of a dance reality show named Yeh Hai Jalwa, which featured popular television personalities including Ronit Roy, Shweta Tiwari and Rakhi Sawant.

After Banoo Mein Teri Dulhann, he took a break from his TV career and went to attend the New York Film Academy in the year 2010. In 2011, he appeared as a contestant in Nachle Ve alongside Saroj Khan. In 2013, she made her film debut in From Sydney with Love opposite Rohit Khurana.
